two-week leave in September 1957.

From the Pueblo Chieftain
Attended game on November 16, 1957; Drove to Baton Rouge the day before the game
and took the
Lake Pontchartrain Causeway to Bogalusa, LA to visit former FHS Classmate,
Mollye Steward
and friends. The four also spent two days in New Orleans during their time
at Ft. Polk.
The day Don left Ft. Polk, LA he bought his dad an electric razor
for Christmas - was back in Fowler, CO the following day.
