USS FOGG DE-57 & DER-57

FOR SEVERAL YEARS I WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE USS FOGG ASSOCIATION.  I STARTED LOOKING FOR OUR FOGG SHIPMATES BACK IN 1988 (THE YEAR I RETIRED FROM RAYTHEON COMPANY).  WE STARTED HAVING ANNUAL SHIPS REUNIONS IN 1991.  THEY STILL HAVE ANNUAL REUNIONS, BUT I NO LONGER ATTEND BECAUSE I AM TO OLD TO LEAVE OUR HOME.

THE FOGG WAS IN COMMISSION FOR 4 YEARS 4 MONTHS.  DURING THAT TIME MORE THEN 1050 MEN SERVED ON HER.  I HAVE LOCATED ALL BUT 13 OF THESE FORMER SHIPMATES.  MOST OF THE OFFICERS AND MEN HAVE SINCE DIED.

I AM STILL DOING WORK FOR ALL WW-2 AMERICAN SAILORS AND THEIR FAMILIES. ALL OF THE WORK I HAVE DONE FOR THESE MEN AND THEIR FAMILIES IS ALWAYS FREE OF CHARGE.  I DO THIS AS A LABOR OF LOVE FOR MY FELLOW SHIPMATES.  THEY HAVE PUT THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE FOR THEIR COUNTRY.  THIS IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO FOR THEM!

GOD BLESS THEM ALL!                                                                               SAL DI MILLA         JULY  2007
